I don't know of any new ideas to put decals but I have a squirrel perched atop a light switch and my husband and I just redid our bathroom times with fun decals. I'm hoping to get more for the house so this is a lovely giveaway!

Decals look great on the side of a tub...especially the claw foot style.
I like the idea someone mentioned about putting them on the front of desk drawers as I was going to mention putting them on the side of an obnoxious filing cabinet in one's office.
They're also great instant style in an apartment when you can't and don't want to spend a lot of money decorating a place that you don't own.

Oh - I LOVE these! I would love to put one on my fireplace. I don't know if it would be smooth enough, but I don't have a mantle, so it would look great in the large space! I also think a great place would be a toybox! My son has a great wooden toybox that's really smooth and a decal would look very cool on it!

As for ideas, I don't have any that I have come up with, however I have seen them going up on the tanks of toilets lately! =)
I think if you had a small decal, you could jazz up your mailbox. You'd just have to make sure you don't live somewhere where they still smash mailboxes!

Office! Nice way to decorate your office without doing any permanent damage
i think on the doors of an entertainment center, armoire, tv stand, etc. would be a great place to put a subtle decal, like a branch with leaves or flowers.
i have a credenza with 3 doors that i use as a tv stand & i have been considering purchasing some of your decals to put on it.

my office window, over the bar in the kitchen, and bookshelves. It would be cool to sneak one behind something... like behind the handtowel handing in the bathroom. Then when guests dry their hands, they see a surprise flower or squirrel or something. I also loved the ceiling idea and dishwasher idea a few people had.
Or INSIDE the fridge... fridge walls are boring.

This may sound kind of grim, but the outside of a coffin...it would have your loved one "going out" in style. :) I think it's pretty endearing actually, also adds a lot of personality. A not so grim idea: on glass shower doors. If you go the extra mile and want to try to be clever, you can try to position it in a way that would cover up body parts of someone who's showering (in case they were walked in on!).
I want to put a decal on my studio window! I'm getting an art studio of my own for the first time in my life-- just a repurposed storage room, but my first ever! I want to make it feel as special as it's gonna make me feel, and a shiny happy decal would be just the thing!
Plus, I like having the window uncurtained, and I want to stop birds smackin' into it. I think a great big chandelier might do the trick...
I'm an art teacher, and after racking my brain to figure out a unique way to fix an ugly shower door I decided to put two beautiful decals on the doors. They look even nicer than a shower curtain!!! (Now my children fight to take a bath!)

I think one of your decals would look awesome on the ceiling of our sundeck! It would be so cool to look up and see, for example, your flock of birds graphic or the dandelions blowing in the wind graphic!

I think it would be cool to place decals inside cupboards or behind books on the back of a bookcase so you get a surprise when taking one- I bet the bird trio would like this job!
I think many would also be really funky on a large beach plastic beach umbrella for some truly unique style!
Another idea would be to put one under the glass top of a glass-topped coffee table. That would look great :)

A great idea is to put decals on patio doors, so our pets know when it's open and don't go walking into it, and also to deter birds from flying into it. You can also put small decals onto vases or glass pencil holders and give them away as gifts! Or you can put the decals on laundry machines to make the chore a little more exciting. SO many things you can do with decals!!!
